A – There are plenty of products on the market today that will convert older coaxial cable formats (RG59 and RG6) to comply with internet protocol by simply adding a converter. So yes, this will save on wire costs and associated installation labor.
I like the new camera technology in use today, but don't want to invest in an expensive computer to hold all the recording!
